What will we be looking at?
- This year at City Weekend In we’ll be digging into the bible to see what God has to say about family.
What should my youth kid do on Friday?
- Bring them to dinner! Then you can drop them off at youth for 7pm. While they’re at youth, you can continue hanging out at the City. Why not organise a carpool with some other parents?
Will there be a place for my kids to rest on Saturday?
- There will be multiple quiet spaces for kids on the Saturday afternoon. One room for quiet and rest, and one room for a kids movie.
Can I come for part of the weekend?
- We’d love you to come for the whole time! We reckon this is the best way to get the most out of the weekend – quantity and quality time together. But there are options on the rego form for those who can’t be there for both Friday night and Saturday.
What will the kids program look like?
- There’ll be a full kids program for the entire morning. It will cover Creche to year 5, just like Sunday kids church. Check-in from 9:15 for a full morning of bible talks, craft, games and fun. Morning tea will be provided for U5s and K-5. Check-out will be when the adults session finishes at 12:45.
Do I need to bring anything?
- On Saturday, bring your Bibles, any free-time activities you might want to share eg board games, craft, cricket bat, or anything you might need for free-time like a hat.
What’s the go with food?
- Food will be provided for both Friday and Saturday, including for dietary requirements (if you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to get in touch). If you have a little one that you want to bring food for, there is an option to select ‘no food provided’ on the rego form.
