HBC is a family that loves families! We love seeing children grow in their love for Jesus. Find fun, safe, age-appropriate programs for kids where they can learn about Jesus, grow, make friends, and have a blast!
Our prayer for our kids is that, under God, they would have their identity rooted in Jesus and be shown what it means to live with Jesus as their king, all by the time they are 20 years old.
Kids Church
Babies to Year 5 at City and Garden Suburb Campuses
During the church meeting we invite kids into specialised classes where they hang out with other kids their age, play games, learn about Jesus and the Bible, join in discussions and craft, and have heaps of fun! There’s also a creche room for children under 18 months.
Check-in starts 15 minutes before the start of each service to settle the kids in. Look for the check-in stations, they’ll be easy to find. If you’re new or not sure where to go, any of our Connect Team can help you find the right place for your kids.
Each Sunday kids take another step through the timeline of God’s salvation plan using The Gospel Project for Kids with activities, songs and lessons tailored to their age and development.

Committed to Safe Ministry
We take child safety seriously. We’re committed to the safety, protection and wellbeing of all children and vulnerable people involved with Hunter Bible Church. We make sure all our staff and volunteers have had legal checks and safe ministry training.
Youth
HBC Youth is a fun, inclusive community where teenagers can hang out and be themselves. Youth provides a safe network of friends and experienced leaders where you can come and ask the big questions in life, discover the Jesus of the Bible, and have a tonne of fun while you do it! Fridays during school term, for years 6-12.
Kids Church @ Home
Raising kids to know and love Jesus as part of a church family is a wonderful partnership. We’ve got you covered with helpful resources and lesson links so you can keep the growing going at home too.
